What this form saves

Your email address, signup time, signup source and a record of the consent language shown when you joined. We use this list to send the Not That Sharp newsletter and updates about its launch.

Where it lives

The list is stored in a private Cloudflare database. Access is restricted to the site operator. We do not sell the list. This landing page has no advertising trackers.

Signing up is not a purchase

This form collects interest in the newsletter. It does not charge you, create a paid subscription or send an immediate confirmation email. A separate checkout will be required if we offer a paid subscription.

Delivery and opting out

We are choosing an email delivery service. When delivery begins, we will share the signup details needed with that service, and every newsletter will include a way to unsubscribe.

Site security

Cloudflare processes connection information to serve and protect this site. Our signup protection stores a short-lived keyed hash of the connection address, rather than the raw address, to limit repeated requests. The private research site uses an essential login cookie. Newsletter signup does not require a login cookie.
